Note My Date didn't begin as a business. It began as a habit — a father, then a son, quietly collecting and preserving rare currency notes for over two decades, long before "collectibles" became an online category.

What started as a personal obsession became something more. Word travels quietly in certain circles, and over the years, our private collection found its way into the hands of people who understood that a note bearing their birth date or wedding day was worth more than its printed value. We never advertised. We didn't need to.

Every Indian currency note carries a unique serial number — a string of digits printed once and never repeated. Buried inside that string, by pure mathematical chance, some notes carry a six-digit sequence that matches a real date in DDMMYY format. The odds? Roughly 0.0001% of notes in circulation carry any specific date.
