The Journey of One Note
From the Press to Your Hands.
Every note we deliver has lived a life before it ever reached you. Here is that journey, traced step by step.

Stage 1 — Born at the Press
Every Indian banknote begins at one of four currency presses in the country — two run by the Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India at Nashik and Dewas, and two run by Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran, a subsidiary of the RBI, at Mysore and Salboni. Here, under the Reserve Bank of India's sole legal authority to issue currency, your note is printed, numbered, and given a serial that will never belong to any other note in history. 

Stage 2 — Released Through the RBI's Network
Once printed, the note doesn't go straight to the public. It travels through RBI regional offices, then into currency chests — storehouses authorised by the RBI and held within bank branches across the country. From there, it's distributed onward to banks, ATMs, and finally, into circulation — into wallets, tills, and pockets across India. 

Stage 3 — Lost in the Crowd
From this point, the note becomes one of billions. With no public database mapping serial numbers to locations, finding one specific 6-digit date combination is like finding a single grain in a warehouse of sand — it could be in a shop till in Coimbatore, a bank vault in Jaipur, or a wallet in Shillong.

Stage 4 — Where We Come In
This is where decades of relationships take over from data. Our network — built over three generations, quietly collecting rare-date notes — includes currency dealers, collectors, and bank contacts across the country who know how to track, request, and verify a single serial number. When your request comes in, this network activates, cross-checking sources until your exact date surfaces.

Stage 5 — Verification, Not Assumption
A matching serial number alone isn't enough. Every candidate note is inspected for authenticity and condition before it's accepted — checked against RBI security specifications and examined to confirm it's genuinely uncirculated, with no folds, creases, or handling marks. If a note doesn't meet our standard, it's rejected, even if the date is correct.

Stage 6 — From Vault to Frame
Once verified, your note moves from raw find to finished piece — placed into your chosen format, whether a single protective envelope or a fully designed frame, finished to gallery standard.

Stage 7 — It Reaches You
What arrives at your door isn't just currency. It's a note that began at a government press, passed silently through millions of hands and transactions, and was found — deliberately, patiently — because the date printed on it means something to you.
